Pharmacy

The Medicare hospice benefit covers medications needed to treat the patient’s terminal illness. Custom Hospice will order medications for you, and you can get them from a local pharmacy or through mail delivery. Medications for a condition not related to the terminal illness – allergy medication for example – are not covered by the hospice benefit. The Custom Hospice team will review and discuss the medications that will be covered under the Medicare Hospice benefit.
